Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KaloCV website and digital products (the "Service"), operated by Omar Kouhhiz, an individual based in Taza, Morocco ("KaloCV", "we", "us" or "our"). By purchasing an access pass or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

KaloCV provides time-limited access to a library of digital resume and cover letter templates in Microsoft Word (.docx), Canva and PDF formats. Every pass gives access to the entire library and all its formats: passes differ only in duration.

Delivery: templates are delivered by email, as download links or file attachments, to the email address used at checkout, within 24 hours of purchase. During the validity period of your pass, you may request additional templates included in your pass by emailing our support. Each request is answered within 3 business days.

2. Access passes, prices and payment

  • Access passes are sold for a fixed duration (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) starting on the date of purchase.
  • Each pass is a one-time payment. Passes do not renew automatically and you will not be charged again unless you choose to purchase a new pass.
  • Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes where they apply.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (creem.io), which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Creem handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable taxes and payment-related customer service. Creem's terms also apply to the payment transaction.

3. Personal use of passes

Access passes are personal and may not be shared, transferred or resold. Please make sure the email address you provide at checkout is correct, as it is used to deliver your templates. We may refuse abusive requests, such as requesting the entire library for redistribution.

4. License

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, edit and use the templates to create resumes and cover letters for your personal use or for your own job applications. Documents you created during your access period remain yours to use after the pass expires. You may not:

  • resell, redistribute, share or sublicense the templates, whether modified or not;
  • publish the templates on any marketplace, website or template library;
  • use the templates to provide a competing product or service.

5. Intellectual property

All templates, designs, text, graphics and other content on the Service are owned by KaloCV or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the license described above, no rights are granted to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer

The templates are provided "as is". While they are designed to be readable by applicant tracking systems (ATS), we do not guarantee any particular outcome, including interviews, job offers or compatibility with every recruitment software.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the pass concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Complaints and governing law

For any complaint, please contact our support first at support@kalocv.com: we are committed to finding an amicable solution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Omar Kouhhiz ("KaloCV") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or purchase an access pass. We act as the data controller, in line with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for people located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

  • Order data: name, email address, purchased pass, order date and amount.
  • Support data: the content of messages you send to our support team.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and access logs needed to deliver and secure the Service.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

2. How we use your data

  • To deliver the templates you purchased (performance of a contract).
  • To send order confirmations and answer support requests (performance of a contract).
  • To prevent fraud and secure the Service (legitimate interest).
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data. We send marketing emails only if you have given your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Cookies

Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for its operation. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

4. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service: Creem (our Merchant of Record), our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email provider. They are bound by data protection obligations. These providers may process data outside Morocco and the European Union, including in the United States; in that case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Data retention

We keep order data for as long as required by accounting and tax obligations (up to 10 years) and customer data for up to 3 years after your last purchase or interaction. Support messages are kept for up to 2 years.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, object to and delete your personal data. If you are located in the European Union, you also have the GDPR rights to erasure, data portability and restriction of processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email support@kalocv.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Morocco, www.cndp.ma) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your data.

Refund Policy

Our products are digital goods delivered by email within 24 hours of purchase. Because digital files cannot be "returned", the following refund policy applies.

1. 14-day delivery guarantee

If you did not receive your templates or were unable to download the files included in your pass, for example because of a technical issue on our side, a broken link or a corrupted file, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date.

2. How to request a refund

  • Email support@kalocv.com within 14 days of purchase.
  • Include your order number, the email address used for the purchase and a short description of the issue.
  • We may first try to fix the problem by sending you working files. If we cannot resolve it, we will issue a refund.

3. Processing

Approved refunds are issued through Creem, our Merchant of Record, to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. The time for the funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.

4. Non-eligible cases

  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase.
  • Templates that were successfully received and downloaded, unless a file is defective.
  • Change of mind after the content has been received or downloaded.

5. Right of withdrawal (European Union customers)

For consumers located in the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once its delivery has begun with their prior express consent and their acknowledgment that they thereby lose this right. By completing your purchase, you request delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. This does not affect the delivery guarantee above or your statutory rights in case of defective content.
